Donate in Memory of a Loved One

There are many different ways to donate or collect donations in memory of a loved one, for My Mito Mission, and we are so incredibly grateful for any support you can give.

However you decide to remember your loved one, we’re here to help you remember them and their legacy, whilst making a difference to those impacted by mitochondrial disease.

Funeral collections

Remember and celebrate the life of someone incredibly special by organising a collection for My Mito Mission at their funeral. Or you can collect for any of our individual missions. Donations can be collected online, in person or both.

We can provide you with collection devices, support materials, QR codes with our logo etc as needed. We would also be honoured to include your loved one on our ‘In loving memory’ section below.

Please contact us if you wish or put us in touch with your funeral director to discuss how we can best support you.

Fundraise in memory

You can set up an online fundraising page, or ask us to do it for you. This is where people can donate in tribute to your loved one and leave their memories of them.

Click below to set up a JustGiving page. Select a mission or My Mito Mission; click the JustGiving logo; click the ‘Fundraise’ button then follow the instructions. Again, please ask us for any help you need.

If your loved one was lost to mitochondrial disease, you can alternatively set up a mito mission in their name. Find out more below.
