On Saturday 6th April The My Mito Mission Energy Ball took place at Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford.

The night started with a fantastic performance by the Rock Choir, who got the whole room energised, welcomed by our host Ben Eagle.

While this was going on, guests were able to place bids in the silent auction enabled by See it Now, take a look at our merchandise, buy raffle tickets and take part in the golf putting competition. We also had brilliant entertainment from Lula Hooper and the spectacular Show Girls from Event Dancers UK.

Our chair and charity co-founder, Christine gave a wonderful, emotional speech ‘People Power’ which highlighted the vast number of people in the room that have been affected by mitochondrial disease in some way, and those who wonderfully support our cause.

The night was a tremendous success raising a total of £10,385 all of which will go towards mitochondrial research, awareness and support. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported our Energy Ball, all our prize donors, our sponsors Towngate Plc, KT Hydraulics, The PMG and our patron Thornhill Estates and last but absolutely not least, to our wonderful volunteers whose hard work and dedication made the event possible.
