My name is Debbie, and I’m a bereaved parent and your host.
This podcast is for all of us, to share and celebrate the stories of our children, and offer support to each other. Each episode will explore topics that have relevance to us as we navigate the world as bereaved parents. Whether your loss was last week, last month, last year or even last century, you are welcome here. And whether your child was a baby, a youngster, a teenager, an adult, or even a parent themselves, you are welcome here.
Please be aware that each episode will deal with themes of death and loss.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) if the UK’s only national charity providing peer support to bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents who have experienced the death of a child, sibling or grandchild.
The Compassionate Friends exists to make a difference by providing support, understanding, empathy and hope to bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents who have experienced the death of a child of any age (from 1 month old to an adult child) and from any cause.
We do this by offering high quality, accessible peer support services and information to bereaved parents and their families. We also provide information to professionals supporting bereaved parents.
Supports families and educates professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, and when a child is facing bereavement. Every year we train more than 10,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families. Our vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives, when a child grieves or when a child dies. Our mission is to ensure the accessibility of high-quality child bereavement support and information to all families and professionals by increasing our reach and plugging the gaps that exist in bereavement support and training across the country and embedding standards in the sector.
